Separately Environment Minister Alan Kelly says Cashel's Fire Station status is being reviewed so it can go into the National Capital plan while he's also providing €300,000 for a new fire engine for the county.
Fine Gael TD for Templemore Noel Coonan is hopeful the Templemore project can get underway quickly, given the site and planning permission has already been secured.
