The 6 elected members of the Cashel-Tipperary council will meet this to select a new Cathaoirleach to replace Fine Gael's John Crosse.
The district is made up of 2 Fine Gael, 2 Independent, along with one Sinn Fein and one Fianna Fail representative.
The elected members will hold their AGM at 9.30 this morning.
