The family of Ibrahim Halawa has called on the Government to prevent any further delays in the trial of the Dubliner.
Yesterday, lawyers for the 21 year old presented his defence, as part of a mass trial in Cairo.
But over 480 other defendants will also have to make their case, before the judge reaches his verdicts.
The process is due to continue tomorrow.
But Ibrahim’s sister Somaia says it’s vital the Irish government keeps its eye on the case.
