Gardaí had to be called to protect fire crews dealing with bonfires over the weekend.
Crews from Thurles came under attack from a large group with rocks and bottles thrown at an appliance.
Fire personnel had to retreat from the area and await the arrival of Gardaí before proceeding.
Incidents were also reported in Cashel and Roscrea.
