Half a million euro has been granted for works at a local fire station.
Roscrea’s facility will be upgraded and refurbished with the design stage of the project already completed.
The funding is being granted by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage as part of a €61 million allocation across the country.
Roscrea Fire Station was built on the Birr Road in 1981, and has been in need of attention for some time.
