Three men are in Garda custody in connection with the haul.
As part of an intelligence lead operation involving Revenue Customs, The Drug & Organised Crime Unit and the Roscrea Divisional Drugs Unit a package containing approximately 7 kg of herbal cannabis was intercepted at a premises in the North Tipp town.
The drugs, which had originated in Spain have an estimated street value of €140,000.
In a follow up search of another address in Roscrea a package of 5 kg of herbal cannabis worth €100,000 was also seized.
A number of houses and vehicles were searched as part of the operation.
Three Lithuanian men, including one in their late teens and two in their mid twenties were arrested.
They are been held at various Garda stations across Tipperary under drug trafficking legislation.
