Industrial action by members of the INMO in the Mid West Group including Nenagh General has been deferred.
It was to take place today, but late last night, the nurses and midwives organisation said they'd secured extra nursing posts during two separate hearings under the auspices of the LRC.
70 nurses are to be recruited for the University Hospitals Group including University Hospital Limerick, Nenagh, Ennis and Croom Orthopaedic Hospital.
39 extra nurses are also being recruited for Naas Hospital, so its likely tomorrow's industrial action there will also be called off.
