70 new Gardaí have graduated from the training college in Templemore today.
They began their training in Templemore last July and will now take on operational duties around the country.
Today’s attestation brings to 14,385 the number of Gardaí in the force.
A further 158 Garda recruits are currently undergoing the blended training programme at the Garda College in Templemore.
