Lawyers for Tipperary farmer Patrick Quirke will continue making submissions today in a bid to overturn his conviction for the murder of the Bobby Ryan.
The prosecution argued his motive for the killing was to get back with Bobby Ryan’s partner Mary Lowry, with whom he had been having an affair.
Mr Quirke’s lawyers say he didn’t get a fair trial — and say Ms Lowry was allowed to prejudice the jury.
