A man has been arrested following an assault in Nenagh earlier this week.
Monday’s incident left the injured party needing hospital treatment in Limerick.
Gardaí are continuing to take witness statements and going through the CCTV footage from the area.
A man in his twenties was arrested yesterday in the Nenagh town area and remains in Garda custody.
He is due to be charged and brought before the District Court today.
