The vehicle – with its flashing lights on – was taken from Larne fire station in the early hours of Saturday.
66 year old Robert Duffin and 19 year old Ross Clarke, who are both from the town, have been remanded in custody until another hearing of Coleraine Magistrates Court later this week.
