Tipperary farmers have hit out at changes to the land parcels which will see several of them having to reimburse the government for money received in their Single Farm Payment.
Following re-examination of the applications, several parcels of land have been deemed ineligible and farmers are being asked to repay a portion of the money.
Most of the farmers affected are along the Western seaboard however, there are some in Tipperary.
Local Fine Gael TD Noel Coonan has criticised the clawback and says that in previous schemes these areas were allowed to be included.
