Commuters have no sympathy for Luas drivers

A planned work stoppage for next week has been called off – however action is still on the cards for St Patrick's Day and Easter Sunday and Monday. 

Transdev, the company which runs the Luas, and SIPTU which represents the workers, are due to attend talks at the WRC on Monday.

Mark Cummins of Rail Users Ireland says daily users of the Luas do not have sympathy for the drivers.
