College management meet over seminary allegations

Its management has met to discuss allegations of a so called “Gay Subculture” – after the Archbishop of Dublin sent his seminarians to Rome amid concerns about the situation at Maynooth.

14 seminarians joined the college this week – following intense media coverage of the accusations.

In a statement the trustees say there is no place in a place in a seminary for any sort of behaviour or attitude which contradicts the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Anyone with specific concerns about Saint Patrick's College in Maynooth is urged to report them immediately.
