Coalition talks to focus on Irish Water today

Last night the parties insisted no deal had been done in the area and that they hadn't even discussed it yesterday. 

Yesterday it was reported that the two parties had reached a compromise deal on Irish Water. 

This would see the commercial semi state go into full public ownership as a state company and charges suspended until a fairer regime could be put in place. 

That led to a cool reception from Fianna Fáil TDs who said it didn't meet enough of what they promised in the election.

The talks will resume later this morning and both ides insist will continue throughout the weekend if necessary.
