Several householders in Bianconi Drive have complained to the Council about the rodents, who have been seen in back yards and around bins for several weeks.
It's thought that an overgrown green area, where people have been dumping rubbish illegally, is to blame for the infestation…however, the area has not been cleared yet by the local authority.
Local Sinn Fein Councillor Catherine Carey says she's going up this evening with a digger to look at clearing it away
