A long term loan agreement will allow the Department of Education to draw down €200m.
It will support the construction, enlargement and modernisation of 71 schools over the next 4 years.
Gaelscoil Chluain Meala is included in the funding – they are planning to refurbish the existing building with 8 new classrooms together with an 8 classroom extension.
School principal Karen Mhic Gearailt says the funding puts them on a more secure footing.
