A young Clonmel boy has lost his fight for life after a boating tragedy in the US.
8 year old Harry O’Connor was on a boating trip with his family on the Cape Cod Canal in Boston last Wednesday when the vessel capsized.
12 people finished up in the water.
Harry is thought to have been trapped under the boat for around 20 minutes – he was airlifted to Boston Children’s Hospital but passed away yesterday.
He lived with his parents Paudie O’Connor and Laura Lenehan and his siblings Charlie, Joe and Ellen in Sudbury, Boston.
They are originally from Poulnaganogue, Clonmel.
