Following Bus Eireann's decision to axe the Route 7 Expressway service through the town there was a major outcry in the area.
Public meetings were held and petitions were signed calling on the company to keep the route in place.
As a compromise a link bus to Callan and Clonmel was put in place to accommodate people.
However Cathaoirleach of the Carrick Municipal District Eddie O'Meara says despite the campaign waged by locals they're not using the new service.
