There are renewed calls for An Post to maintain protected post boxes in the Cashel area.
Four of the five boxes in question are still in use.
Two of the them were built during the 1930s while the remainder date from 1905.
However the post boxes are in a state of disrepair according to local Independent Councillor Tom Wood.
