The Justice Minister is being asked to intervene in the dispute between management and workers at the Garda College in Templemore.
Cleaning staff at the Mid Tipp College are engaged in a work-to-rule today as part of a dispute over pay and conditions.
Planned action by the IMPACT workers had been postponed last month to allow for more talks at the WRC, however the discussions failed with the union saying there was a lack of engagement on the part of management.
The row centres on several issues including the college's failing to hire enough staff to deal with the increased garda student numbers at Templemore, health and safety concerns while the workers are the lowest paid civil servants in Ireland.
Tipperary Fianna Fail TD Jackie Cahill says he hopes a resolution can be found as soon as possible
