Planning permission has been granted for a new takeaway in Cloughjordan.
Donald and Linda Austin of Austin Supermarkets Ltd had sought a change of use for a premises on the town’s Main Street.
The building had previously operated as a pharmacy.
Tipperary County Council has given conditional approval for the change of use – the takeaway will employ 2 or 3 staff per shift for a predominately evening trade.
