Bus Eireann under fire over Bansha stop

It follows the company's lack of response to calls for a bus shelter in Bansha.

Since the closure of the Post Office in the west Tipp village, social welfare recipients and old age pensioners have had to travel to Tipp Town to collect their payments.

Councillor Denis Leahy had called on Bus Éireann at the February meeting to provide shelters for those waiting for the service.

However the company's failure to respond has angered the Independent representative.
