Bus Éireann strike continues

The student group says its members have been particularly affected by the travel disruption – as the indefinite bus strike enters its second day.

Bus services have ground to a halt with pickets placed on Bus Éireann depots in Tipperary and across the country.

Minister Shane Ross has said repeatedly that he will not get involved and has urged Bus Éireann management and unions to get back to the talks table and resolve the row over cost-cutting measures.
