Brave souls to take part in Stephen’s Day swim

A number of hardy souls will be taking to the waters of the River Suir this afternoon to raise funds for a mid-Tipp school.

Now in its 30th year the St Stephen's Day Swim in Holycross is just part of the annual festivities.

The pupils of St Michael's National School have been raising sponsorship money for both the swim and the duck race which follows.

Principal Ger Corbett says there's a fun afternoon ahead which will help support the school.
