“Paul” from Clonmel had just come out of prison in recent weeks – he had asked to be sent to jail when he appreared in court on shoplifting charges so that he could take part in a detox programme.

However the 43 year old was found dead in his squat earlier this week.

Speaking to Fran Curry on Tipp Today his sister Ann Marie said the services available for the homeless or people with addictions need to be improved.
