The An Post Rás is an annual, eight-day, stage race around Ireland…it kicked off yesterday and will run until the 29th May
Stage two of the event gets underway this morning from Mullingar…..cyclists will then travel through Tullamore, Kilcormack before coming through Tipperary…passing through Riverstown, Nenagh, Dolla and Silvermines.
Following a category three climb at Shalee, they will then go through Newport and onto Limerick before finishing in Charleville this evening.
While there is no stop in Tipperary this year, Gardaí say there will be some traffic restrictions around Nenagh while the Rás makes its way through.
