A planning application has been lodged for a poultry farm in South Tipp.
The proposals before Tipperary County Council are for two poultry houses, service rooms and feed bins at Caherclogh, Lisronagh.
According to the details supplied with the application 17,500 hens would be housed there.
The structures would also support roof mounted solar panels.
A decision is due in early February.
