Three men arrested over an aggravated burglary in Roscrea have been released without charge.
94-year-old Jimmy Campion and his wife Maura were assaulted by two men who broke into their home on Sunday the 7th of May.
Jimmy Campion suffered head injuries. His wife was uninjured but left traumatised.
On Mondy a 28 year old man was arrested in Dublin.
Two more men – one aged 17 and the other 34 – were arrested yesterday, also in the Dublin area.
The three were being questioned in North Tipperary Garda Stations but have now been released without charge.
A file is being prepared for the DPP.
