According to the INMO – Cork University Hospital is the most overcrowded with 17 people in need of a bed.
South Tipp General and the Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise are next with 15 people on trolleys and overflow areas of wards at each facility.
University Hospital Limerick has 10 patients without a bed today.
