Tipp Musical Societies take top awards

 

Tipperary Musical Societies  have  scooped a number of  top  accolades at this years
A.I.M.S Awards, held in Killarney.
Tipperary Musical Society received the top award of  Best Overall Show.
Best actor went to Cathal O'Donoghue and Best actress to Deirdre Ryan.
The unsung hero award went to Bill O'Dwyer also from Tipperary Musical Society.
St. Mary's Choral Society Clonmel meanwhile, got Best Choreography  for Mother and daughter team Gillian and Majella Fitzgerald. And for  the second year running Best Programme went to Ruth Butler.
A.I.M.S , the Association of Irish Musical Socities awards are the highest  mark of achievement  for participants across the 32 counties.
