Around 300 people attended an information meeting in Borrisokane late last night about the new direct provision centre that’s planned for the town.
A community hall in the town was filled to capacity by mostly local people who hit out at the Department of Justice over the lack of information given on the asylum seekers who will be arriving in the town from next week.
Tipp FM’s Ben Sweeney was there and joined Fran on Friday.
