Highlights from Tipp Today – Wednesday 14th February 2018

We were joined today by Joanna Trollop who spoke about her event happening this evening the Limetree Theatre. Joanne will read from her new novel An Unsuitable Match and talk about her influences and writing life with the wonderful Liz Nolan of Lyric FM. The novel looks at the complicated business of love and factors in the added messiness of love, second time around.

Valentines Day can be a difficult day for some with love and romance to the fore it can be really difficult for people who are nursing a heartache.
We were joined in studio today by our Psycho therapist Joannes Berkery who gave her advice to people who find Valentines Day especially difficult.

We were joined today by Sinead Brown, the Choir Master from Corville National School, who is launching its new CD today as part of efforts to raise much needed funds for the Roscrea school. We heard one of the tracks from the CD , Hallelujah.

I was joined today by Corina Fitzsimmons , Communications and PR Officer from Dogs Trust. The charity has removed all photographs of dogs seeking adoption from its website to highlight that they’re Not Just A Pretty Face. Dogs Trust wants people to consider re-homing a dog based on their personality not just their looks this Valentines Day.
