Vincent’s meet with HSE over top-up payments

The board of St Vincent Healthcare Group is meeting with the Health Service Executive to discuss top-up payments.

It was revealed last month that the Chief Executive of the Dublin hospital is being paid almost 300 thousand euro – well in excess of the public salary limit.

The HSE says it will be asking the St Vincent's representatives how it will become compliant with public pay policy.

Fianna Fail's Sean Fleming-who is a member of the Public Accounts Committee-says the HSE should have moved much sooner.
