A Tipperary couple are planning on buying their dream home in the country.
They picked up a cheque for almost €470 thousand today from National Lottery headquarters following a win in the EuroMillions on March 20th last.
The €3 Quick Pick ticket was bought in Gleeson’s Newsagents on Henry Street, Limerick.
The couple, who do not wish to be identified, matched 5 plus 1 lucky Star – if they had matched one more number, they would have won the entire EuroMillions jackpot of €15 million.
They have a young family and plan to buy a house in the country with a big garden.
The couple also won €2,000 in the EuroMillions just six weeks ago.
