There’s good news for a north Tipperary village as the dark nights draw in.
19 street lights are to be upgraded in the village of Newtown.
It’s part of the upgrade of the public lighting system being undertaken by Tipperary County Council.
Cathaoirleach of the Municipal District John Carroll says this work will make a big difference to the area.
