North Tipp County Council is to consider a new licensingsystem for fast food vans travelling to Thurles for big matches.
The issue was discussed at the recent meeting of North Tipp County Council, where concern was raised at the amount of chip vans setting up camp around Semple Stadium on match days.
Councillors agreed that a strategy needed to be put in place to limit the number of vans and also to address safety concerns relating to their positions around Semple Stadium.
