Foreign Affairs Minister backs call for public inquiry into Finucane murder

It follows a judgement in Belfast High Court which backs the British Government's stance not to hold a public inquiry into the 1989 killing.

Minister Charlie Flanagan says he will study this morning's judgement.

He also says the government believes an independent public inquiry into the murder, in line with the political commitments made by the British and Irish Governments at Weston Park in 2001, should be honoured.
