Delegation told Halawa will return to Ireland after trial

The President of Egypt has told an Oireachtas delegation Ibrahim Halawa will be returned to Ireland once his trial is complete.
A cross party group of TDs is in Cairo to discuss the Dubliner's case.
President Fatah-al-Sisi is understood to have stressed the independence of the judiciary in his country during the discussions.
Ibrahim's trial has been postponed 16 times and is scheduled to take place next Tuesday.
