An investigation is underway in to the death of a young boy in a farming accident in County Tipperary this week.
The 11 year old was injured after he was hit by a trailer as a vehicle was reversing at his home in Brensha, about 3 miles from Tipp Town at around 5.15 on Wednesday evening.
Alan Quirke was rushed to South Tipp General Hospital but died shortly after his arrival.
Gardai are investigating but have described it as a tragic accident.
