London flat residents refuse to leave unsafe buildings

People refusing to leave four unsafe tower blocks in London are being told they risk delaying the work to make them fit to live in again.

Around England 34 blocks in 17 areas have been deemed unsafe after fire safety checks on cladding following the Grenfell disaster.

It’s thought around 20 households have stayed put in Camden – but the council insists this is not an option.

Thousands of people in the area have spent a second night away from home after the buildings were deemed unsafe.
