Criticism levelled at direct provision centres in Tipperary

A group which supports asylum seekers in Ireland has criticised the standards in a number of Direct Provision Centres in Tipperary and across the country.

The Movement of Asylum Seekers in Ireland group say they found a lack of appropriate accommodation and food at a number of centres they visited.

Bulelani Mfaco is a member of MASI – he says the conditions they experienced at a Tipperary centre were simply not acceptable.
