Significant overcrowding in hospitals serving Tipperary

Almost 20% of patients of trolleys across the country today are in hospitals serving the Premier county.

Of the 408 people without a bed – 49 are in University Hospital Limerick, with 28 at South Tipp General in Clonmel.

Cork University Hospital is the most overcrowded facility today, where there are 51 patients in need of a bed.
