Gardai are investigating after a woman was killed in a single vehicle crash in County Offaly yesterday afternoon.
The woman in her late 40s was fatally injured when her car lost control and left the Ballycumber Road near Ferbane at about 4pm yesterday afternoon.
The victim, the sole occupant of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene and her body was removed to The Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses.
