People in South Tipp are being urged to visit their Council office to examine the proposed plan to merge North and South Tipperary Couny Councils..
This is after Independent TD Mattie McGrath described the merger as a take-over of the South of the County by the North.
He claims there should be concern that the chair of the implementation group, is the County Mamanger for North Tipperary, which Deputy McGrath says is inappropriate.
He says people should engage with their local representatives on the issue.
