An animal welfare group has raised concerns that there may be a repeat of the shocking scenes in 2017 when a number of horses were found dead or starving in the same area.
This latest incident has been highlighted by the Action for Animal Welfare Ireland.
Spokesperson Ann Williamson visited the site yesterday after being told about the dead animal.
