Number of people on trolleys in local hospitals remains very low

The number of people on trolleys at the country’s hospitals remains very low this afternoon.

The latest Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation figures show there are 21 people without a proper bed across the country, including four at University Hospital Limerick.

There is nobody on a trolley at South Tipperary General Hospital in Clonmel, or in Nenagh General this afternoon.
