Voluntary housing associations are facing a new threat according to Tipperary T.D Mattie McGrath.
He claims that they now face having the property tax imposed on them, which he describes as an insult to the voluntary groups and organisations who came together to help those in need in their localities.
Deputy McGrath is Chairman of the Newcastle Voluntary Housing Association which provides 17 homes for the elderly and disabled in the village.
