Carmel Finnegan is a solicitor and mother of two and is on a mission to introduce a potentially life-saving treatment to all of Ireland’s 19 maternity hospitals.
Carmel says that ‘brain cooling’ for new born babies should be in every hospital as when it’s needed, it can be critical hours away.
