A survey conducted on Gills garden at Falvey's Lane has cleared the way for folliage on the stuture to be removed after it was deemed not to be a bat santuary.
Last year €35,000 in funding was allocated for the project under the Public Area Enhancement Scheme and it's hoped the finished product will enhance the castle and the overall tourism product in North Tipperary.
